Project Balance Signature Mindful Arts Program

A creative wellness program that fosters healthy habits, self-regulation, and character development. After discussions on the link between bullying and mental health, participants practice self-care with art, mindfulness, and stretching.

Bellas Balance: Mindful Dance Program

A unique dance program that empowers youth to understand how media influences their values and confidence while promoting mindfulness, fitness, and mental well-being.

Mini Balance Fitness Program

A playful, interactive program for young children, integrating movement, storytelling, and mindfulness to build emotional awareness and self-regulation.

Mindful Athletics

A wellness initiative that enhances mobility, stability, and injury prevention, while mindful techniques and mindset discussions strengthen focus, trust, and team unity.

Learning Experiences

We offer a variety of workshop formats and aim to customize sessions to the unique needs of schools and organizations

Ongoing Series:

A structured series of workshops running over eight or more weeks, designed to build long-term skills and habits. Schools can choose:

  • Half-Day Sessions: Weekly half-day workshops tailored for specific grades or groups.

  • Full-Day Sessions: A full day of interactive programming for the entire school or designated grades.

After-School Programs:

Designed to offer a flexible space for connection, reflection, and personal growth through small drop-in group sessions.

School Assemblies:

Engaging and interactive large-group presentations. Perfect for introducing students to the wellness principles of the Balance Framework.

A short story about Taya Veira

Taya is a dancer and certified fitness instructor with over 18 years of experience in mental health and wellness. From a young age, she was drawn to psychology and sociology, seeking to understand her own emotional struggles.

At 18, her sister brought her to a yoga class, which became a turning point— 11 years later, it is still helping her regulate emotions, build character, and connect with her true self beyond the effects of trauma and anxiety.

Inspired by assisting her mother in youth programs since age 11, Taya has extensive experience facilitating creative mental health programs for children and teens across school districts, from preschool to high school.

She is passionate about empowering youth through self-care, mindfulness, and character development to support both mental and physical well-being.
